Report from our latest Northwest Birding Tour

At the beginning of February 2025, we embarked on an incredible journey through northwestern Mexico in search of the region’s most emblematic birds. We had the pleasure of sharing this experience with Donna, Kenneth and Doyle from the U.S., and Susan from Canada, showing them both the stunning landscapes and the remarkable birdlife of the area.

From the coastal wetlands to the mountains of the Sierra Madre, we recorded 263 bird species throughout the trip.
Among them were several rare and hard-to-find species in Mexico, such as the Masked Duck and Yellow-breasted Crake.
Additionally, we spotted some of the most iconic birds of this region, along with more than 30 endemic species.
Our guests also added several lifers to their lists, making this an unforgettable experience.
